Each piece is hand-thrown on a potter's wheel in the Mulcheney Pottery thatched workshop before being wood-fired in the three chambered kiln at temperatures exceeding 1300°C.

Each piece is unique, yet bears the unmistakable 'toasted finish' and tactile appeal of his pottery.

Each of the mugs are specially hand inscribed with the words of James Crowden, a wel-known West Country Cider Maker, Historian and Poet:

"Bread is the staff of life,                                                                                             But cyder is life itself.''
